THE ‘GYMSKIN’ METHOD

The current culture often rewards attention over substance. People chase visibility because visibility brings money, and money brings power. What’s considered “good” or “bad” matters less than what gets noticed.

You can see this in online personalities who shift their behaviour depending on what gains traction. Whether something is positive or negative is secondary—what matters is that it attracts attention. That’s not necessarily a personal flaw; it’s a reflection of a system that prioritises profit above all else.

My concern is that many of the people who could genuinely improve things recognise how flawed the system is—and choose not to engage with it at all. They step back instead of stepping in.

But if the “game” is flawed, maybe the answer isn’t to reject it entirely—but to engage with it differently. To play it with intention.

Instead of criticising those who succeed within the system, why not enter it and reshape it? Use visibility not just for personal gain, but to spread something meaningful. Build influence that benefits more than just yourself.

That’s what I think of as the “Gymskin Method”: becoming someone people recognise and support—not for ego or profit alone, but to create a positive ripple effect that extends beyond you.

On Taste, Knowledge, and Judgment

None of us knows everything. And because of that, we shouldn’t judge others for knowing less, or for liking things we don’t understand or agree with.

What we call “good taste” or “good knowledge” shouldn’t be about superiority—it should be about openness. It’s about being willing to explore different perspectives, different styles, different beliefs, and learning from all of them.

When someone has taken the time to genuinely explore and understand a wide range of ideas, their perspective holds weight—even if I personally disagree with their conclusions. Because their opinion is informed, not assumed.

In the end, it’s not about being right. It’s about being willing to understand.
